Where Does He Find Them ?
All credit to Eric for pulling another rabbit out of the hat and finding a superbly gifted trio of musicians, Dunedin's highly regarded and hugely entertaining - The OXO CUBANS.

The evening started as normal with Bruce Carvell MCing the event and skating on a bit of thin ice with some very entertaining stories. All good fun. After food and drinks, Eddie gave us a run down of the year's activities before we got into the results.

The results can be found on the results pages but let's state for the record the achievements of our worthy winners this year and in particular Mahmoud who captured top prize.
Dancing The Night Away
Some took the opportunity to dress up whilst others did the opposite and dressed down. Here we see Bolty in one of his more subdued wardrobe items. TK took the opportunity to wear a tie depicting procreating pigs. You can't take him anywhere .......

The Longest Day
All credit to those who had started their day at 6 am kicking off the first of four rounds of golf. Some amazing scores to report - Ben Patston shot a six under 65 off the black tees with Duncan Croudis going one lower off the blue tees. Well done to those guys and well done on raising a lot of money for a great cause.
Some found the energy to play 4 rounds of golf then dance the night away .....
And Finally ....
Another great year of golfing and other social activities to record in 2023. 2 good tours where we had great weather on one tour ( in Southland ... ) and in Australia it was bit hot and sticky. It has gone by at a million miles an hour and we are all one year older but not necessarily wiser. We have welcomed new faces into the fold, some have retired from their lifelong working activities, and we have welcomed new grandchildren into our families. Let us hope 2024 brings us all equal happiness and prosperity.

We had a wonderful night out on Friday and thanks to all of those who worked to deliver such a great night. Thanks to all of those who help keep the wheels turning, to those who turn up to working bees and helping out on the course, and thanks to everyone who makes turning up to golf on Wednesday something to look forward to week in week out.
