General Tour Information
-
Accommodation for 7 nights at Ultiqa Signature, Broadbeach. These are 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments.
-
There are no gimmies, each putt must be holed to record a score.
-
We anticipate having complete fours at all times but, if a phantom has to be applied through injury or indisposition, it is deemed to score 28 points per round, its contribution comes off the first prize and any winnings for the phantom go into the fines pool.
-
We will play off the normal club tees or forward men’s tees if they are not specified.
-
NZ golf registrations still do not work in Australia so handicaps will have to be looked up. Your NZ based World Golf Index on Monday 12 August will be the index which will apply all week.
-
Each match is a team competition with your team of four matched against the other three teams of four. In addition, there is an individual daily contest with the top 3 players getting prize money.
-
All money is in Australian Dollars cash
-
Daily match fees are $20 per game with $15 of this going towards the team competition and the remaining $5 to the best individuals. Haggle or side bets are separate to this.
-
The winning team each day receives $180 and the runners up $60 except for the days when we play 2,3,4 / 4,3 2
-
When we play 2,3,4 and 4,3,2 each set of six is worth $80 with that prize awarded to the winner of each set of six. No runner up prizes.
-
The winning individual each day receives $40, the runner up $25, and third $15.

Individual stableford scores will be totalled over the whole week with the best 5 of 6 rounds counting. The highest individual score will win The Archie.
The sheriff will be looking for indiscretions and levying an appropriate penalty. The fines pool will contribute $100 to The Archie Winner with $50 and $25 going to the minor place getters.
The Annie cup will be awarded to the best aggregate stableford score over the week for the Roomies. For this trophy all six scores count for each player. Past experience is that the Archie winner usually pulls his partner through for a win in the Annie competition so there is no cash involved here – just the trophy and the glory.
Any money remaining in the fines pool will be shared at the final team dinner.
